Abstract

This chapter describes the process of psychotherapy supervision of trainees.

Lewis Tauber’s choice point analysis and action selection method is applied. A case transcript is used to demonstrate the method.

Readers can review the transcript and choose from a number of action alternatives. They can compare their selection of interventions with those made by the therapist in the transcript.

This chapter will be of relevance to supervisors and to trainees in all clinical disciplines and professions.
