Abstract
This chapter presents a definition of reclaimed and reused water. It also presents an overview of potential uses for reclaimed water in terms of agricultural re-use, environmental re-use, groundwater recharge, non-potable water re-use. This section will also consider the circular economy of water (CEW) and define the term “fit for purpose”. Finally it will present an overview of European and Global Water Reuse guideline and applications.
