Abstract
The last chapter proposes a set of practical exercises and so-called ‘tester’s kata’. The word ‘kata’ is adopted from the martial arts. We understand it as a set of practices, constantly performed by the testers, whose role is to train their minds to effectively solve testing problems. They strengthen the good habits related to the way of thinking about these problems. Both kata and exercises are concentrated around the topics such as: logical thinking and reasoning, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, counting and estimating, and analytical thinking.
