Identified Particle Production in U\(+\)U Collision at \(\sqrt{s_{NN}} = \) 193 GeV in STAR

Abstract

We present the first measurement of the transverse momentum spectra, mean transverse momentum and particle yield of the identified particles (\(\pi ^{+}\), \(\pi ^{-}\), \(K^{+}\), \(K^{-}\), p, \(\bar{p}\)) at mid-rapidity in U\(+\)U collisions at \(\sqrt{s_{NN}}=\) 193 GeV with the STAR detector. The results obtained in U\(+\)U collisions at \(\sqrt{s_{NN}}=\) 193 GeV are compared with the corresponding published results from Au\(+\)Au collisions at \(\sqrt{s_{NN}}=\) 200 GeV at STAR.
