Abstract
We modify the left-right symmetric model with spontaneous parity breaking, by adding Majorana dark matter candidates without neutral current interactions. The gauge couplings of the model unify around \(10^{16}\) GeV. When embedded in SO(10), the model predicts a testable proton decay lifetime. Unification does not require any scale intermediate to SO(10) and left-right symmetry breaking scales. The latter breaks at \(\mathcal {O}(\)TeV), implying falsifiability at the large hadron collider.
