Abstract

Java broadly divides events into two categories. The events generated by software components are termed as semantic events. The events generated by hardware mouse or keys are termed as low-level events. We have learned software components generated events and applied them for the developments of event-driven games in previous chapters. Now we turn our attention to apply the low-level events for controlling games. The game Sudoku is a famous numerical game played by a single player. It is taken as an example for exposing the event listeners of keys in this chapter.
