Abstract
This chapter improves the game Othello with new ideas. The new ideas include replacing the pieces with images, making pixels of images transparency, applying the frame-based animation for flipping the image pieces, adding sound effects, and more. Further, the two players game is constructed as single player against a computer player in order to introduce the artificial intelligence concepts and practices. The new developed artificial intelligence algorithms include “first”, “random”, “best”, and “edge”.
