Abstract

Starting from the analysis of environmental and climatic factors of West Bengal, supported by multi-colored social, cultural and typological aspects, the chapter investigates construction and technological issues to be applied in Indian context, considering how to implement and improve design process with the use of local materials to achieve maximum comfort and economic sustainability for the best building construction and management.
