Abstract
Bioinformatics projects depend heavily on the use of multiple databases to access information, and utilize public data for such information. The Wolfram Language offers multiple tools to be able to access such kind of information. In this chapter we give an extensive description of accessing the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) databases, and the University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC) Genome Browser for data retrieval.
