Abstract

Throughout this book we have seen how we can use the Wolfram Language to analyze data, access information online and visualize results. The functions we have used are specific to the task at hand, and in some ways customized to aid us. We have occasionally written functions for repetitive tasks, and used packages such as MathIOmica where code has been already written to help our analyses. As you develop your own code base in the Wolfram Language, you will find that often you will reuse notebooks and simply modify them for specific analysis, or you will have your own functions for specific tasks. As your functions mature in complexity you may want to share your work with the community and help others that are analyzing similar work. You may decide that you want to write your own package and we will briefly introduce packages in this chapter.
