Abstract

Clinical case. Differential diagnosis: SS, Paraneoplastic autonomic ganglionopathy, Systemic lupus erythematosus. Diagnosis: Temporal profile of autonomic symptoms and presence of peripheral polyneuropathy, detection of autoantibodies (ANA, RF, SS-A, and SS-B), salivary gland biopsy. Main autonomic manifestations of SS neuropathy: orthostatic hypotension, sudomotor dysfunction, pupillary signs, gastrointestinal and urinary symptoms. Immunosuppressive therapy. Prognosis.
