Abstract
Generalized autonomic disorders: Autonomic failure: Pure autonomic failure (PAF), Multiple system atrophy (MSA), Parkinson’s disease (PD), Dementia with Lewy bodies (LBD), peripheral neuropathies. Autonomic hyperactivity: diffuse and focal brain lesions, diencephalic, brainstem, spinal cord and peripheral nerve lesions. Focal autonomic dysfunction: pupillary, sudomotor, cardiovagal, cranial secretion and enteric. Orthostatic intolerance syndromes: neurogenic orthostatic hypotension, neurally mediated syncope (vasovagal, reflex syncope), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
