Abstract

On April 21, 1604, Silvestro Pagnoni goes to the Inquisition Court in Padua and signs this complaint against Galileo Galilei (Bertola in Da Galileo alle stelle. Biblos, Cittadella (Padova), 2008). Silvestro Pagnoni has been Galileo’s copyist. Three months earlier, in January, the relationship had been broken. We do not know why, but it certainly happened in an unfriendly way.
