Abstract
The Internet is at the centre of our daily life, and according to some recent surveys, 95% of Italians between the age of 25 and 44 use smartphones to surf online. Even more interestingly, there has been a steady growth in the use of e-commerce in recent years. In 2016, this growth regarded the sector of luxury goods and finance investment in particular, where more and more consumers use apps to conclude their transactions.

Differently from exclusive distribution agreements in distribution agreements the restriction of the number of dealers depend on selection criteria linked to the nature of the product and not on the number of territories. Another difference is that restriction on resale is a restriction on any sales to non-authorised distributors and not a restriction on active selling to a territory.
