Abstract
MMTS 2.0 was designed based on previous research discoveries in mindfulness as it applies to healing and performance. We know that mindfulness training, in some mindfulness based interventions, leads to reduced stress, increased ability to concentrate, increased frequency of flow, reduction in negative thoughts – and perhaps the most important -- improved performance. We also designed MMTS 2.0 based on the needs of the twenty-first century athlete and performer. We strove to create a program that is relatively low in time demand and one that makes an ongoing, clear connection between mindfulness and performance.
