Abstract

The structural reinforcement of a buildings’ structure ought to require an evaluation and previous detailed analysis of the existing situation. The real situation of structural reinforcement demonstrates that, regardless how thorough the initial analysis may be, it becomes challenging to guarantee complete adequacy between the design and what could be faced “in situ”. Within this framework, it becomes important to identify a methodology to validate the conditions for applying the solutions selected for the design. This paper proposes a methodology to proceed to that validation, by comprising a possible establishment of procedures.

A practical case is made to prove the above mentioned matter.
