Abstract
In this chapter extra-articular procedures in the shoulder are reviewed. Indications to perform barbotage in calcific tendinitis are discussed, as well as indications for infiltration of the bursa subacromiodeltoidea and glenohumeral or paralabral ganglia. Anatomy, medication, equipment and techniques that confederate with those procedures are clarified. Aftercare and complications are mentioned.
