Abstract
This chapter is a review upon the injection procedures for the sacroiliac joint (SIJ). We will discuss the technical principles of the SIJ injection for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. We will describe indications, anatomy, proper techniques and approach, choice of equipment, quantity of pharmaceuticals and appropriate aftercare as well as possible procedure-related symptoms and their treatment.
