In the previous chapters we have outlined a number of applications that use partition function form games as a modelling tool. Such application serve both as an inspiration to develop new concepts and results and at the same time are potential outlets for research. In this chapter we look at topics where partition function form games are not used: so what are these topics doing in this book? These applications use coalitional games or a similar formulation and they all contain widespread externalities. These games are potential applications for partition function form games, and if there is a next book written on partition function form games, then there will be chapters devoted to them. In this chapter we focus on the brief, informal exposition of the results without introducing the terminology of the field and also provide key references for further reading.
