Abstract
This chapter, written by a professional coach and trainer, explores how role modelling can be a pathway for transforming oneself to achieve desired outcomes not only in the workplace, but also in life. Role modelling is a powerful tool that enhances a person’s effectiveness and brings about change in a short duration. The author demonstrates the power of role modelling through illustrations and anecdotes drawn from his own work, while discussing powerful concepts such as the desire to learn and finding the right role model. The author also explains how role modelling can and does work, especially at the unconscious level, from the perspective of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).
