Abstract
Tissue conditioner materials are the temporary soft lining materials that are used to treat the damaged mucosa, which is mostly caused by the trauma of the old denture of the patient. Preventing excessive pressure of the denture on the healing tissues is the main purpose of using tissue conditioners in the mouth. Also, tissue conditioners can be used as a functional impression material. This chapter focuses on all the indications, features, problems, and clinical application procedures of the tissue conditioner materials.
