Abstract

Rather than single case studies presented in previous chapters, this chapter presents a sample of 32 reports of investigation in Norway. Statistical analysis is carried out in a quantitative study of the sample based on agency theory. Results indicate that the contribution from and value of an investigation are significantly related to knowledge asymmetry between examiner and client.
