Distal Humerus Fracture
- 1.1k Downloads
Fractures of the distal humerus account for 2% of all fractures. Usually the fracture occurs when the elbow joint is flexed more than 90 degrees. Fractures are classified according to the AO/OTA classification. Goals of treatment particularly for intraarticular fractures include restoration of length, rotation, and articular congruity. In this chapter the principles and techniques related to distal humeral fractures management will be discussed.
