Abstract
The mathematical constructions of thought become more and more interesting as the complexity of the relationships between defined objects increases. In the previous chapter, we got to know the divisibility relationship, which expresses that one natural number is a divisor of another natural number. We also introduced settheoretic operations that express how new sets can be formed from existing ones. The focus of this chapter is on relations and functions. In a manner of speaking, we will therefore formalize and generalize the conceptual relationship expressed in the divisibility relationship.
The step that leads from numbers to functions is like the step that leads from games to strategies
