Abstract

The computer has weaved itself into our daily and social life. Consequently, we have to decide what kind of life and society we want these digital products to support and in which way they can support this? Over the years, we explored how design can do this by offering a context for experience. In this chapter we focus specifically on resonant interaction. With the interactive multi-media installation ISH (Image and Sound Handling) we explore the characteristics of resonant interaction, in order to be able to create digital adaptive products that fits the diversity of people.
