Abstract

Doctoring and mothering are both jobs that demand great attention, energy, and sacrifice. While they are roles that can complement each other, more often than not, they collide. What things can we doctor-moms do to contain the chaos? This chapter is a flexible guide for managing the overlap and logistics of two of the toughest jobs a woman can choose to do (at the same time).
