Abstract

Plasma-supported wound care is a new and innovative approach for the treatment of chronic wounds. Plasma-supported wound care could be implemented by nursing personnel. This chapter will describe what roles and tasks nursing personnel have in plasma-supported wound care and which specific competencies they must acquire for its application.
