Abstract

This paper proposes the control of a second-order plant using a type 1 (T1) non-singleton fuzzy logic system (NSFLS) to update proportional (Bp), integral (Ti) and derivative (Td) of a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller gains. The performance of this controller was compared with two controllers: classic PID and the T1 singleton fuzzy logic system (SFLS) that updates the PID gains. The results of this proposal show a fast response time and better stability than the other two, allowing its application to control real time industrial.
