Abstract

Symptom management of individuals with neuromuscular disease requires a specialized approach to rehabilitation management. Symptoms and rate of progression vary greatly among different conditions and individuals. Occupational, physical, and speech therapists have unique skills that are essential to multidisciplinary management of neuromuscular disease.
