It seems obvious that this complex of emerging technologies has an impact on all aspects of human life, society and sustainability. With means of cartoons and practical examples, this short introduction aims to give an impression to central aspects as for example perspectives and limits of forecasting, the role of narratives, participatory risk assessment, contemporary developments and resilient structures as strategy of facing unknown risks. As a starting point it shall introduce, motivate and serve as node for going more into the deep of further literature and the next chapters of this book. It is also a call not only to look for more data, but also at the narrative framings that give data and facts their perceptible meaning, and activate for practice, discourse and collaboration.
