Abstract

The safety and reliability of the ship’s monitoring and alarming system is of vital importance to the reliability and economy of the safe operation of the ship, improve the efficiency of the crew operation and management, and ensure the safety of the ship and all the personnel on board. The function of the engine room monitoring and alarm system was analyzed, the overall structure was designed, the hardware was selected and the software program was designed. A set of monitoring and alarming system was designed, which was based on PLC technology, OPC technology, WPF technology and database technology. The system is applied to the project of the land automation engine room. The results show that the system is stable and reliable, and the interface is friendly. It provides a certain reference to the research and design of engine room monitoring and alarm system.
