Abstract
When I was asked to contribute something of my perspective on change related to the fields of theatre and performance, I thought about the song by Mercedes Sosa, the Argentine folk singer, that speaks about the changes I witnessed from the time I was the grandson of an immigrant factory worker to becoming a professional playwright and tenured professor.
