Experimental Setup

Part of the Springer Tracts in Modern Physics book series (STMP, volume 277)

In this chapter the experimental facility at GSI is described, which was used for operating the superconducting magnets. Furthermore the magnetic measurement system, which was developed for measuring the SIS100 magnets, is described and its peculiarities and challenges outlined.
