Abstract
O’Brien et al. [1] highlighted how survival is the immediate concern post operatively [1]. However, the paper also demonstrated psychosexual concerns come later on and gained importance over time. The paper is weak in that they do not specify the time at which a pathway should be implemented. This needs to be taken into account with the study and built on (Level 2b, recommendation B).
