Abstract

National Space Organization (NSPO) has completed the development of an extendable space-borne GNSS receiver (ESGNSSR) in 2015. The prominent achievement of this receiver includes a positioning accuracy of 8 m, a speed-accuracy of 0.05 m/s, and the cold start time less than 90 s. The ESGNSSR will be used in the autonomous FORMOSAT-7, an NSPO-Built low earth orbit (LEO) satellite, scheduled to be launched in 2019 to execute pre-defined scientific missions.
