The Soils of Turkey

Part of the book series: World Soils Book Series ((WSBS))

Abstract

This chapter is the attempt to discuss the pedogeomorphology of Turkey in the contexts of geology and topography/geomorphic units related to the soils of the country. The soils occurring on some of the geomorphic units mentioned in this chapter as pedogeomorphic significant sites are dealt in more detail in the chapters named after these soils.
