Abstract
Effective presentation and communication of your results is an essential skill in science. Poster presentation is a great way to introduce yourself to the world of scientific communication, and it offers the opportunity to gain feedback on your work from outside your immediate research circles. It also provides vital experience in responding to probing research questions. The presentation style of a poster is the one in which new researchers probably have most difficulties relating to. It likely differs considerably from what you have tried and experienced earlier in your education. You will, therefore, need a bit of help getting started. In this chapter we will present you with some tips and tricks for designing and presenting a poster.
