Abstract
The chapter elaborates on the book’s empirical, methodological, and theoretical contribution. The chapter highlights the larger patterns of continuity and transformation underlying the cases studied in the previous chapters. The chapter also evaluates and discusses the usefulness of the methodological approach in the study of processes of biotechnological change.
