Abstract

A typical example of a discrete-continuous hybrid system is a chain system (also called a ladder system) occurring in telecommunications and as a system approximating structures described by means of partial differential equations.

The bumblebee can not fly!

According to recognized aerotechnical test

the bumblebee can not fly because of the shape

and weight of his body in relation to the total wing area.

But, the bumblebee doesn’t know this,

so he goes ahead and flies anyway.
