Information System Security in the Context of Administrative Cooperation Through Internal Market Information System in Romania

Abstract

The importance of understanding the security of information in close correlation with privacy must be reflected in the curricula of undergraduate of Informatics field. The syllabus includes the management of the IT security systems and also the knowledge of electronic platforms used and developed strictly in administrative cooperation. The last one is achieved through the transposition of directives of European Parliament and of the Council regarding the services in the internal market in the sectoral legislation in this area. It should be developed a strategy to facilitate the process of raising awareness of the Romanian citizen about the risks, threats and legally rights they have when using latest IT development in everyday economic and social activities. In this paper we approach these aspects from legal point of view.
