Abstract
Change is difficult and slow. The role of the agent of change is no less so. This book is about the long journey involved in achieving healthcare changes. Health care is complicated. Included are many practical principles, tools, and examples to guide other change agents to help them achieve their vision, aggregate the required collaboration and support, and overcome barriers-all of which are the nature of change. It is the author’s firm belief that care for older adults and the development of Geriatrics as a discipline provides many compelling models of care with far-reaching influences contributing to the transformation of American Health Care.
