Cannulation in the Cultured Siberian Sturgeon, Acipenser baerii Brandt

The chapter deals with a detailed description on how to equip a sturgeon with an intra-aortic cannula. In a first section, the advantages of such a procedure are recalled. Later on, a brief overview cannula in sturgeon is given. Further, the list of material and the chronology of process are provided. An overall effectiveness is pointed out as well as its safety aspect.
