Abstract
Roger Howe is one of a few notable research mathematicians who is also well respected in the mathematics education community nationally and internationally. In this paper, we outline three aspects of his achievements related to mathematics education: his accomplishments as an educator, his contributions and achievements as a leader and his contributions and achievements as a scholar in mathematics education.
