Abstract
In this paper we present a new solution for continuous monitoring of body position and motion over a mattress cover, using intelligent textiles. The main focus of this work is the analysis of the data generated by this intelligent mattress, through the identification of body movements along the bed. The output of this work is to be used as an overall solution in the home and healthcare market, where monitoring activities is an important need.
