Abstract
Attwood examines Disney’s contribution to the popular perception of chivalry. Attwood reviews Disney’s portrayal of chivalric ideals through a synthesis of literature and movies in addition to other popular culture media. This evaluation provides additional context to explain the influence of popular culture on pre-service K-8 teachers’ perceptions of chivalry as a historical social construct.
