Abstract
Attwood posits a new social theory called archeophisomorphic theory based on his analysis of data collected from preservice K-8 teachers, Gestalt psychology, and Gadamer’s philosophy. This theory provides a framework to explain why ostensibly anachronistic social values can persist throughout and across time and place.
