Abstract

Double outlet right ventricle (DORV) is a definition and spectrum of complex structural abnormalities in the heart that implies that both great vessels arise from the right ventricle. This section outlines the anatomic types of DORV, the physiology, and anesthetic considerations of parturients with this cardiac anomaly.
