Abstract

Present-day educational process requires interactivity from the teacher and the student, as well as employment of modern tools provided by the internet informational space and computer technologies. Network organization of the subjects’ interaction in professional and educational activity is considered most effective; network-based software is currently used in many professional spheres. Educational activity in higher school requires resorting not only to proper “academic” network-based software solutions, but also to scientific ones, as far as educational tasks include mastering methods of obtaining new knowledge. The paper presents the “Semograph” Information System used for training specialists in linguistics while organizing both their educational and scientific activity. Particular instances of using the “Semograph” in teaching academic disciplines are introduced; examples of research projects used for teaching scientific activity are presented.
