An Applicability of ABC Method to Inverse Simulation and Application to Triage Simulation

Abstract

We proposed TRISim, a multi-agent simulation tool, to study hospital triage operation methods. By inputting various combinations of model parameters, we can obtain the results to explore the correlation between parameters. We can derive an optimum set of parameters by exploring many parameters manually, but this is a time-consuming task. Herein, we propose Inverse TRISim, a method to automate the task of finding an optimal combination of parameters using the artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm.
