Abstract

So far we have mostly dealt with stationary bound states represented by normalized wave functions. We now turn to processes instead of stationary situations. Forced excitations and forced or spontaneous decays of energy levels are discussed as well as particle scattering. The structure of compound particles like proton or neutron may be revealed by scattering experiments at varying momentum transfer.
